Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how EchoPilot collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile app, website, and connected integrations.
Information we collect
- Account information such as email address, display name, authentication identifiers, and subscription status.
- Voice recordings, transcripts, extracted actions, notes, reminders, events, task details, and follow-up messages that you create in EchoPilot.
- Integration connection status and provider identifiers needed to route approved actions to services you connect.
- Basic technical data such as device information, app version, logs, crash reports, and usage events used to operate and improve the service.
How we use information
- To transcribe voice notes and create structured action cards for your review.
- To save your sessions, actions, preferences, and integration settings.
- To route actions only after you choose to send them to a connected destination.
- To provide support, security, debugging, abuse prevention, and product improvement.
Google API data use
If you connect Google Tasks, EchoPilot requests access to manage tasks in your Google Tasks account. EchoPilot uses this access only to create, update, or remove Google Tasks that you explicitly approve inside EchoPilot.
EchoPilot stores Google OAuth credentials securely on the server, along with the minimum sync metadata needed to track task creation and update status, such as provider, task ID, sync status, and timestamps.
EchoPilot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate EchoPilot, with integrations you connect and explicitly use, when required by law, or with your consent.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and action data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request account deletion from the app or by contacting support. Disconnecting Google Tasks stops future access to your Google Tasks account.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect user data, including server-side credential storage for OAuth integrations. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- You can enable, disable, or disconnect supported integrations in EchoPilot settings.
- You can revoke Google access from your Google Account permissions page.
- You can request deletion or support by emailing support@echopilotapp.com.
