EchoPilot and Notion

Notion is the destination for the things that outlive a task list. Project pages, meeting records, ongoing trackers, the reference material a team actually returns to. EchoPilot treats it that way rather than as another inbox for one-line to-dos.

What EchoPilot can add

Notion takes the widest set of any destination EchoPilot supports. From a meeting you can send:

• Tasks, the commitments someone made;
• Reminders, when the thing is time-bound;
• Events, when a date and time were agreed;
• Notes, the longer-form record worth keeping.

Each carries a title and body, and where the conversation supplied them, a due date, a deadline and labels. Those extra fields are why Notion is the right destination for structured project work rather than a quick capture.

Nothing appears until you approve it

Every item arrives first as a card in EchoPilot, showing Notion as the destination and the moment in the recording that produced it. Read it, change the destination if the guess was wrong, edit the wording, then confirm. Nothing is created in Notion before that.

Changing something already sent

After an item exists in Notion, the card can still rename it, change its description, change the due date, set a deadline or set labels. Removing it, or changing its destination to somewhere else, asks for confirmation first, because those are the operations that are hard to notice and hard to undo.

When Notion is the right destination

EchoPilot routes to Notion when you name it. Say “save that in Notion”, “add a Notion task”, or “put it in my Notion” and that is where the card points. Left unnamed, a quick task goes to your task manager instead, which is usually what people want.

Notion is the better choice when the output is long-term structured reference: project ideas, an ongoing tracker, meeting records a team reads later.

Connecting

Connect Notion in Settings through OAuth, and grant it access to the pages or databases you want EchoPilot to write into. Credentials are encrypted at rest. Note that Notion’s authorisation is not refreshable, so if access expires the card tells you to reconnect rather than failing quietly.
